Iacocca Institute Programs
The Global Village for Future Leaders of Business and Industry
Each summer, the Global Village for Future Leaders of Business and Industry® brings 75 young business leaders to Lehigh University for six weeks. Since its inception in 1997, 1048 leaders representing 100-plus countries in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, North and South America, and Europe have attended the applied leadership and cross-cultural training program. The customized GV experience allows interns to participate in interactive seminar style courses, company projects, executive meetings, country panels, and on-site visits. These activities enable participants to develop leadership and entrepreneurial skills, business and industry knowledge, and an in-depth understanding of other cultures.
The Global Village on the Move
The Global Village on the Move program takes participants into epicenters of business around
the world and provides a focused business learning experience. Utilizing the successful
curricular elements of the Iacocca Institute’s Global Village program, we work with academic partners and regional experts to enhance the participant’s understanding of business practices and cultural nuances in the region where the program is held. Previous programs have
included Peru, Spain, Australia and United Arab Emirates. To learn more about these programs visit our general information web page.
