Bill Jahn joined the staff of the Iacocca Institute in June 2003 as a Global Village 2003 Guide and Project Mentor. In September of 2003, Bill was asked to develop a series of policies, procedures and guidelines which would capture the structure of the Global Village in order to insure consistency from year to year. In addition Bill developed the GV Project program into a major component of the Global Village as well as formalizing the pre-Village staff training. Bill supervises the Guide team consisting of both staff and returning alumni that fill this vital GV role. Prior to joining the Iacocca team, Bill spent 14 years in various research administration and economic develop roles on the Lehigh campus. In his first career he spent 27 years on active duty in the United States Air Force retiring in 1991 in the grade of Colonel.
