Meals:

$700.00 to $1,000.00 USD

Meals are NOT included in your tuition cost.
Average prices for meals in Bethlehem are approximately $5.00 for breakfast, $6-8 for lunch and $10-15 dollars for dinner. These are moderately priced meals. If you want a higher standard of restaurant the prices will, of course, reflect that. Meal tax is 6%. Gratuities are not included. Gratuity is typically 15%.
You can also buy groceries from a local market, which is within walking distance of the Lehigh University campus. .You will have full kitchen facilities that you share with your fellow interns. If you have any special dietary needs, please notify our staff village@lehigh.edu

Laundry:
Automatic washers and dryers: (available in common area under patio) $1.25 per load to wash; $1.00 per load to dry (heavier loads, such as towels, sweatshirts, etc. may require double time to dry, i.e. $2.00)

Dry Cleaning:
Available within walking distance of the campus. Cost is approx. $5.00 per blouse/shirt; $10.00 per dress/ lightweight suit

Personal Items:
$50.00-$100.00 Shopping/ Souvenirs
$10.00 - $14.00 Men's Haircut
$15.00 - $50.00 Women's Haircut

Entertainment:
$50.00- $300.00 depending on individual preferences

PLEASE NOTE:

Some interns opt to visit NYC, Philadelphia and surrounding areas during free time on weekends. If you think you might be interested in joining such trips, you must budget a great deal more for entertainment. Similarly, past Villagers warn that the cost of food, drinks, clubs, pubs, etc. in Washington, D.C. is much higher than in the Bethlehem area. Transportation to and from D.C., housing in Washington D.C., local transportation to scheduled events and one dinner are included in your GV tuition. All other expenses for food, drink, taxis, etc. are your responsibility (a dinner in D.C. will cost about $20-$25 per person)
