Individual Scholarships Information

The Iacocca Institute offers individual tuition assistance in the form of the Iacocca Scholarship. Application for the scholarship is submitted as part of the Global Village online application; no additional forms are necessary. Please be aware that scholarship funds are currently more limited than in previous years.

Tuition for the Global Village is $6500 USD. The Scholarship Committee usually only reviews requests for assistance from selectees who have succeeded in raising at least the majority of the tuition themselves. In order to insure diversity of culture, geography, gender and experience, the number of selectees from any one country, major field of study or employment, etc. is very limited. Therefore, applicants who apply early have a better chance of selection. The average  individual scholarship awarded is between $1,500 and $2,000 USD.

The cost of tuition covers housing and local transportation for scheduled trips that are included as part of the Global Village curriculum. However, please note that the scholarships committee NEVER awards funds to cover the costs of transportation to and from Lehigh's campus in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, nor to cover food, initial deposit or other personal expenses during the six-week program.
