Global Village Guide Team: Each summer we draw from our permanent staff as a select group of GV alumni to guide or interns in their GV program as well as give them an opportunity to have an objective person provide a sounding board for their goals, aspirations, and life’s changes. Summer Staff Positions:
In order to run our programs efficiently and effectively, the Iacocca Institute® hires a number of part-time and full-time personnel for the summer. The hiring process begins in January and is concluded by April 30.
Audio Visual Technician: Assists interns and staff with computer set-ups and troubleshooting. Responsible for setting up equipment in classrooms, including but not limited to LCD projectors, laptop computers, VCR’s and DVD's. Tracks equipment use, manages AV requests and assist office personnel with office operations. Full-time, mid-May through mid-August, core hours 8 AM – 5:30 PM but flexibility is a must. Transportation Assistant: Responsible for managing the transportation schedule during the Global Village program. Arranges for vehicle pick-up and return, manages drivers and creates work schedule, verifies time sheets, confirms directions and itineraries, troubleshoots and corresponds directly with Lehigh’s Department of Transportation Services. This person will also attend all company trips as a staff representative. Valid PA driver’s license is required. Full-time mid-June through mid-August, core hours 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM but flexibility is a must. Global Village Drivers: Responsible for driving Lehigh University vehicles mostly within the Lehigh Valley area. Valid PA driver’s license is required; part-time - mid-June through mid-August.
