This session focuses on the steps of a rational decision-making process that enables people to focus on factual information and an objective viewpoint. Participants explore how to gather data from different sources and make rational choices. Effective Decision Making clarifies the purpose of the decision, defines the decision criteria, evaluates the alternative solutions, measures alternatives against specific objectives, assesses risk and balances the positive outcomes with the potential risks. The outcome is clear method that allows individuals to confidently make objective decisions and strong recommendations.
