"Effective Decision Making"
Andrew Longman
Date : October 18, 2007
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

This Effective Decision Making program will explore how to relate data from different sources and make rational decisions that reflect factual information.  The participants will learn the essentials of decision making such as clarifying the purpose and defining decision criteria first, evaluating the alternative solutions by measuring them against the specific objectives, assessing the risks of the various choices, and making the decision that best balances the positive outcomes with the potential risks.

Andrew Longman has spent more than 20 years helping organizations improve strategic and operational decision making, problem solving and project management. He is the author of The Rational Project Manager, A Thinking Team's Guide to Getting Work Done, published in 2005 by John Wiley & Sons. He has designed and delivered training, consulted in organization development and culture change and provided executive coaching. Some of clients include Schering-Plough, Honda, Verizon, Masterfoods, Lockheed Martin, and Lehman Brothers. (Click here to register)
