Overview:
While studying fighter pilot and aircraft performance, energy and maneuverability during the 1960's, USAF fighter pilot Col. John "40 second" Boyd stumbled upon a concept which would drive fighter aircraft tactics for years to come. His empirical research led him to a basic decision-to-execution cycle which can be found in the pattern of almost any conflict: military, business, personal or athletic. His theory is based on four conditions which make up the mnemonic: OODA. His work has influenced systems-thinkers from all walks of military and business life.
In this discussion, Boom Daniel will break down the OODA Loop for the Leadership breakfast group and drive to how they can improve their own business practices by embracing such a philosophy.
