Overview:
Welcome to the 21st Century where the world is flat, commerce and information cross borders instantaneously and people around the world are struggling with soaring energy prices, food shortages, the impact of global warming and a financial crisis. The impact of a series of great convergences is putting pressure on airlines, automotive manufacturers, appliance makers, builders and more. Thanks to globalization and information technology, 3 billion people were connected to the world in the last ten years and now the surge in demand from Asia is impacting every aspect of our lives. The solution to these challenges is the same as it has always been; it is not the strongest, richest or most powerful that survive, but the most adaptable, and the means to adapt is through innovation. Participants will define the essence of innovation; learn what comes before one can implement a method to innovate; dissect the essential mental qualities of an innovative team; discuss innovation in action; and explore the tools and techniques to be successful.
