As Founder, Chairman and CEO of Genesys, Dr. George B. Weathersby brings to his clients more than twenty years of experience at the President/Chief Executive Officer level.
Dr. Weathersby was President and CEO of the American Management Association, which is the world's largest, not-for-profit professional development company; Oxford Management Corporation, where he managed a $50 million pool of private capital; the Ontario Corporation, an aerospace manufacturing and service company; and the Curtis Publishing Company.
Dr. Weathersby has also been an active member of the academic world for many years. He held faculty and administrative appointments at Harvard University and the University of California, Berkeley, and he served six years as Indiana Commissioner for Higher Education. He received a Ph.D. in Decision and Control Theory from Harvard University, and a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from the University of California, Berkeley.
Dr. Weathersby's leadership was recognized by his selection as a White House Fellow and Special Assistant to the Secretary of State, as well as a Kent Fellow and University of California Regents Scholar.
Dr. Weathersby is a published author of six books and more than fifty articles and has extensive experience on the Board of Directors of several major companies.
