T. Quinn Spitzer, Jr. is a partner in McHugh Consulting, a management consulting firm specializing in business strategy and complexity management. Prior to joining the firm Mr. Spitzer was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kepner-Tregoe.

Mr. Spitzer has worked with several major corporations in a wide variety of industries and in nineteen countries. He has authored numerous articles on a variety of business topics in prominent business journals. Mr. Spitzer is co-author of Heads, You Win! How the Best Companies Think, published by Simon & Schuster in 1997.

Mr. Spitzer makes frequent radio and television appearances on a variety of media outlets including CNBC, National Public Radio, Bloomberg Radio, SKYTV, Financial Times TV and CBC of Canada. From 1993-2000 he was a regularly scheduled business commentator for CNN. Mr. Spitzer is also widely quoted in the business press including The Economist, Fortune, Business Week, The Wall Street Journal, Industry Week and USA Today .

Mr. Spitzer began his consulting career in 1973 as an internal consultant with the State of Georgia under the auspices of the University of Georgia . In 1978 he joined Kepner-Tregoe, Inc. of Princeton , N.J. During a one-year sabbatical in 1983, Mr. Spitzer served as Deputy Director of the Arizona Department of Corrections. In 1990, he was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Kepner-Tregoe, and in 1996 he assumed the additional duties as Chairman of the Board of Kepner-Tregoe after its successful buyout from USF&G Insurance. He left Kepner-Tregoe in 1999 to join several colleagues in the establishment of McHugh Consulting.

Mr. Spitzer received his undergraduate education from the University of Virginia and his graduate education from the University of Georgia. He serves on the Boards of Directors of a number of public and private companies.

Mr. Spitzer is married with five children and resides in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
