JD is the former CEO of Ernst & Young Singapore Consulting and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young South East Asia. In his capacity as the CEO, Mr. Messinger also held the dual role as the Director of Adaptive Enterprise Services and was the Senior Advisor to the Singapore Prime Minister’s first Innovation Award program. Mr. Messinger was the IT Person of the Week in Asia and nominated as the CNBC Asian CEO of the Year in 2002. Mr. Messinger is currently the Chairman of Essence Enterprises, Ltd., a multi-media and communications company that he formed in 2003. The mission of Essence is to help individuals and companies CREATE, CONNECT, and EVOLVE.

A Distinguished Graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, JD has twenty-five years of expertise in the energy and professional services industry as a nuclear submarine officer, Exxon executive, CEO in Ernst & Young, servicing Fortune 20 clients and foreign governments on five continents. He is a recognized global expert in Adaptive Enterprise, crisis response, sourcing, innovation, and outsourcing. As the Chairman of Essence, he has created, produced and hosted his own television show, invented leadership board games, and is the radio host of Global Evolution which airs on CNN radio and is listened to in over 100 countries.
