Colin Dunn served for 30 years in the US Army. In his last active-duty tour, he taught Strategic Leadership at the National Defense University, a graduate degree producing institution. A former English Professions at West Point, Colin has led a variety of Department of Defense organizations in leadership programs and has designed leadership development programs adopted by National Defense University and the American Management Association. Additionally, as a magazine editor, Colin has focused on improving communication in dozens of organizations. He claims that his most interesting job was leading the American Forces Network – the "Good Morning Vietnam" soldiers and civilians who bring American radio and television programs overseas to our troops. With over 30 years of Federal Leadership Experience, Colin has personally directed both small organizations through those with up to 800 people, domestically and in international locations.
Since leaving the Army in 2004, Colin has established his own leadership training organization and has trained hundreds of business leaders in the private sector and has led over 20 organizations through strategic planning and implementation. While he has a successful track record with loyal clientele who rely on him to elevate leadership and performance in their own organizations, he claims that he has learned more about leadership and communications from raising five children than from any other experience.
