Available for Groups
The Assessment Program for Professional Development assists individuals in identifying their skill strengths and areas for development through two unique and complimentary tools:
- Assessment Center Simulation
This assessment tool is a simulation designed to provide you with performance measurements in the areas of decision-making skills, leadership initiative, team-based performance, organization and time management skills and communication skills. About three hours in duration, the simulation will provide you with an individual performance report at the time of debrief that contains feedback about your skill strengths and potential opportunities for skill improvement.
- ABA 360 Feedback Tool (on line tool)
This assessment tool is administered by a coordinator who gathers several on-line surveys that both the participant completes as self evaluators, and also by participant identified raters, and assembles this feedback in an anonymous feedback report for the participant. The 360 Assessments are specifically focused on work place skills that allow the participant to accelerate.
These reports serve many participants in skill performance awareness, development training selection, and career planning.
During the debriefing session, the facilitator will guide participants as they create an Individual Development Plan based on the findings of the assessment tools.
Many benefits exist for those who participate including:
- Relevant, valuable and objective feedback will be derived from use of the assessment tools
- Assessments are strictly confidential and for individual reference only
- Trained external assessors perform the ratings
- A debrief session complete with a self-development template for Career Planning
- Training sessions are targeted directly to competencies measured and are available on an à la carte basis
- Results benefit both the individual and their organization
Who Should Participate
Individuals or groups interested in gaining a better sense of skill strengths and areas for development will benefit from the assessment tools. Receiving feedback is valuable and the Assessment Center affords the time to act on the feedback by creating an individual development plan. Begin implementing your personal development plan by participating in an appropriate combination of optional subsequent workshops.
