Iacocca Institute Programs

The Global Village for Future Leaders of Business and Industry
Each summer, the Global Village for Future Leaders of Business and Industry® brings 75 young business leaders to Lehigh University for six weeks. Since its inception in 1997, 1048 leaders representing 100-plus countries in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, North and South America, and Europe have attended the applied leadership and cross-cultural training program. The customized GV experience allows interns to participate in interactive seminar style courses, company projects, executive meetings, country panels, and on-site visits. These activities enable participants to develop leadership and entrepreneurial skills, business and industry knowledge, and an in-depth understanding of other cultures.

The Global Village on the Move
Positioned as an off-shore business and culturally themed learning experience, the Global Village on the Move program leverages the knowledge of regional experts utilizing the successful curricular elements of the Global Village for Future Leaders of Business and Industry® program. Prior On the Move programs have taken participants into diverse business and cultural environments in locations across the globe, such as Peru, Spain, Australia, and United Arab Emirates. For more information please visit our official website. The seven to ten-day conference sessions consist of interactive workshops, company visits, learning from experienced business professionals, cultural visits, and regionally based case studies.
